You want SPECIAL? These are SPECIAL. They are so special that their stories would fill volumes. Their trials and tribulations were many. But now they are in a "special" place for the rest of their lives - - unless someone really SPECIAL comes along.

Part of our mission is to give each of our residents the absolute best chance in life. To do this you will notice it is a very detailed process to go through in order to adopt a dog from us. Adoptable dogs are listed elsewhere on this site for your visit. But these dogs too need some acknowledgement because they are truly special little guys and gals who haven't gotten the best end of the stick in their lives. In fact, some of them have gotten the very worst end of the stick which caused the dogs harm, damage both physically, mentally and emotionally. There's a special place in our hearts for these poor angels.

There is nothing more we could wish for these precious little creatures than a good home for the rest of their lives. They have that now, here. And, because of people like you, they have options. You can sponsor them and help ensure that the sanctuary is always there for them. They can be "sponsored" or they can, under special circumstances, be adopted.

ADOPTION: We are committed to be sure, if one of them leave us to a new home, that owner will be the BEST OF THE BEST for our friends. So, getting one of these little ones, while difficult, is possible. You just have to be SPECIAL. Are you special enough to have a heart and a home big enough to house these, the least of our friends?
