Poor Apollo. Bred to be a show dog but some genetic flaws kept him and his brother, Hermes, out of the running. They were given the boot and sent to us.

They were quite frightened of the world when they arrived but have since become accustomed to people and other dogs. Apollo isn't one to "mosh" at the front of the crowd for attention but he will watch you eagerly til he catches your eye and wag his tail hopefully that you will come to him and give him the petting he wants.

He has no bad behaviours that make him unadoptable, other than a tendency to shy away from strangers. What makes him a sanctuary dog is that he is also a special needs dog. He has a bad heart and requires special attention.
