black and white border collie/great pyrenees mix, less than a year old
The father is a purebred Great Pyrenees. The mom is a purebred Border Collie. The pups came from an alfalfa farm in Willow Springs, Ca.
The mother was abused and abandoned. She showed up one day when it was snowing at the alfalfa farm and the caretakers of the property fed her. She stayed and had her pups but no one could ever get near her. We tried to take her but could never catch her. Very sad. There were eight puppies. I took all but one puppy, who went to an employee of the owner of the property. The puupies were covered with ticks and filled with parasites. They all have the Great Pyrenees dew claws. They are all beautiful, intelligent and sensitive. They inherited the best qualities of both breed. They turned out to be exceptional dogs.
This family includes: Alexis, Avery, Chase, Dakota, and Montana.
